{"id":390,"date":"2020-08-05T10:27:00","date_gmt":"2020-08-05T10:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wchealthymemory.com\/?p=390"},"modified":"2021-07-31T17:35:59","modified_gmt":"2021-07-31T17:35:59","slug":"radio-exercise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wchealthymemory.com\/en\/radio-exercise\/","title":{"rendered":"Radio Exercise"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">(photo by Maia Hall via <a href=\"https:\/\/voyapon.com\/japans-historical-radio-workout\/\">https:\/\/voyapon.com\/japans-historical-radio-workout\/<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Have you ever heard of <em><em>rajio tais\u014d<\/em><\/em>, or also known as the Japanese radio exercise?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><em>Rajio tais\u014d<\/em><\/em><\/strong> is a three-minute exercise of short circuit of dynamic stretches, joint mobility drills, and bodyweight exercises in time to broadcasted piano music (Mark Sisson, n.d.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It consists of arm circles, bending over, toe touching and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This exercise can be done standing or even sitting on a chair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>There are <strong>two versions<\/strong> of the <em>Rajio tais\u014d<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Rajio tais\u014d<\/em>&nbsp;1<\/strong> is the most popular and used. <em>Rajio tais\u014d<\/em>&nbsp;2 is more complex and fast moving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Japan, Rajio tais\u014d&nbsp;1 is broadcasted on NHK, Japan&#8217;s national broadcaster, four times a day.
